Reinterpretation of Ellipsis in the Formation of Anglicisms

The paper presents the results of an analysis of elliptic anglicisms in Russian and Croatian economic terminology. These results have led to the revision and reinterpretation of the formation of elliptic anglicisms and their classification and qualification according to the stages of their adaptation. Along with a presentation of the combinations of various formation forms of pseudoanglicisms, new definitions for the differentiation of the stages of adaptation have been offered.
