Zusammenfassung: | One of the most frequent causes of accidents in children are burns, regardless of aetiology, without displaying a noteworthy gender disparity, and they represent one of the most complex diseases with which a body can be afflicted. The differences amongst patients who arrived at the emergency room, as well as those who were hospitalised on the Plastic Surgery and Burns department within the Clinical Emergency Hospital ”Gr. Alexandrescu”, regarding their age, gender, percentage of the afflicted body surface area, the location of the burn lesions on their bodies, have been monitored and analysed, in order to create an equation which defines the profile of the patient hospitalised within the plastic surgery departments |
