Zusammenfassung:Objective To investigate the potential regualation of the expression of human maternal gene 3(MEG3) by transcription factor Kaiso and the impact on the occurrence and development of breast cancer. Methods The expression of Kaiso and MEG3 in breast cell line MCF-10a and different breast cancer cell lines MCF-7,BT-474,MDA-MB-435,MDA-MB-231 were detected by RT-qPCR. The expression of Kaiso in cells was detected by Western blot.Kaiso expression of 50 samples from cancer and paracancer tissues were examined by Western blot. RT-qPCR was used to detect the effect of Kaiso over-expressed on the transcription of long non-coding RNA(lncRNA) MEG3. Results The transcription of lncRNA MEG3 in MCF-10a was higher than that of Kaiso (P<0.001). Kaiso was significantly up-regulated in MCF-7, BT-474, MDA-MB-435, and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells,while lncRNA MEG3 was significantly down-regulated (P<0.001).
