Preservação e vitalidade urbana: habitação no centro fundacional de Florianópolis/SC

The emptying of historic centers is a central theme in urban studies. In this context, this study aims to analyze the relationship between urban vitality and housing in the historic center of Florianópolis. The methods used were mapping census data and land use, housing typologies and copresence. The results show a significant lack of housing in the area, which results in desertification during non-business hours, affecting the pre-existing conditions of vitality.
