Zusammenfassung:The present work was carried out aiming to evaluate the effect of different substrate compositions and sizes of recipients in angico seedling growth (Anadenanthera macrocarpa Brenan). To analyze the behavior as to the seedling height, stem diameter, leaf number and dry mass of shoots and gwraidd system, we used polyethylene bags with their volumes: recipient 1 - 360 cm3 ; recipient 2 - 1090 cm3 and recipient 3 - 1660 cm3 , substrates containing the base of soil, sand, manure and waste from kaolin, in the following proportions: Subsoil land + Sand + Manure 1:1:1; II) Subsoil land + Sand + Manure 0,9 : 1 : 1 (+10% kaolin); III) Subsoil land + Sand + Manure 0,8 : 1 : 1 (+20% kaolin); IV) Subsoil land + Sand + Manure 1 : 0,9 : 1 (+10% kaolin); V) Subsoil land + Sand + Manure 1 : 0,8 : 1 (+20% kaolin); VI) Subsoil land + Sand + Manure 1 : 1 : 0,9 (+10% kaolin); VII) Subsoil land + Sand + Manure 1 : 1 : 0,8 (+20% kaolin). The experiment was conducted in cazualizados blocks with treatments arranged in a factorial scheme (3x7). Plant growth of Anadenanthera macrocarpa was influenced by recipient’s volume. The bags with volumes 360cm3 are not suitable for the production of seedlings of this species, and the best results were obtained in bags with a volume of 1660cm3 O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito de diferentes composições de substratos e tamanhos de recipientes na produção de mudas de angico (Anadenanthera macrocarpa Brenan). Para analisar o comportamento das mudas quanto à altura, diâmetro do colo, número de folhas e fitomassa seca da parte aérea e do sistema radicular, utilizou-se sacos de polietileno com os respectivos volumes: recipiente 1 – 360 cm3 ; recipiente 2 – 1090 cm3 e recipiente 3 – 1660 cm3 , contendo substratos a base de solo, areia, esterco e resíduo de caulim, nas seguintes proporções: I) Terra de subsolo + Areia + Esterco 1:1:1; II) Terra de subsolo + Areia + Esterco 0,9:1:1 (+10% caulim); III) Terra de subsolo + Areia + Esterco 0,8:1:1 (+20 % caulim); IV) Terra de subsolo + Areia + Esterco 1:0,9:1 (+10% caulim); V) Terra de subsolo + Areia + Esterco 1:0,8:1 (+20% caulim); VI) Terra de subsolo + Areia + Esterco 1:1:0,9 (+10% caulim); VII) Terra de subsolo + Areia + Esterco 1:1:0,8 (+20% caulim). O delineamento utilizado foi em Blocos Cazualizados com os tratamentos dispostos em um esquema fatorial (3x7). O crescimento das plantas de Anadenanthera macrocarpa foi influenciado pelo volume do recipiente. Os sacos com volume 36
