Molecular structure of novel heterobimetallic thiolate [Cu(PPh3)]4(ZnCl)2(SEt)6.6THF

Heterobimetallic thiolate [Cu(PPh )] (ZnCl) (SEt) has been synthesised and characterised by X-ray crystallography as a THF solvate. It contains the first structurally characterised example of a Cu -S(R)-Zn linkage and only the second species type to embody the Cu -S-Zn triad.
