Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of this paper is to compare the similarities and differences between the diagnostic criteria of sexual dysfunction in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition (DSM-5) and the International Classification of Diseases, eleventh edition (ICD-11). Sexual dysfunction is the inability of adults to experience various forms of satisfactory sexual performance. In this paper, the main diagnostic points of sexual dysfunction in both manuals are summarized and compared with a view to assisting psychiatric and psychological workers to acquire a better understanding of the corresponding sections. |
