Zusammenfassung:The aim of this study is determination of current situation of value education which is in the curriculum of the Geography Class according to remarks and views of teachers. The study group of this study consists of 380 Geography Teachers chosen throughout Turkey. Techniques like frequency, percentage and t-test and Anoia were used for analysis of data. As a result of the study, the teachers think that value education should be placed more in the curriculum. According to teachers, values are time-variant and value education should be updated. The value education which is given in the class cannot be used first in the family and then in a broader circle so it cannot be supported. Teachers are the most important element in value education. Value education and course content are not adopted out of school or denied. Value education is not placed enough neither in undergraduate study nor in in-service training.
