Zusammenfassung:Major regional centers of Russia, including Novosibirsk, have now reached the stage of high-rise construction. The formation of high-rise dominants requires an integrated approach, taking into account urban planning and architectural and artistic aspects. To solve this task, it is necessary to identify a model for the formation of high-rise buildings, referring, among other things, to historical experience. A well-known example of an integrated approach to high-rise construction is the «Stalin’s skyscrapers» in Moscow. Studying the experience of the 1950s and adapting it to modern conditions may be of interest to modern architectural practice.
