Zusammenfassung:Right ventricular (RV) systolic function is an important determinant of clinical outcomes in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). However, RV function assessment is less well defined than left ventricle function and requires the use of multiple echocardiographic indices. We report a child with severe PAH and RV dysfunction in whom traditional measures of RV systolic function were deceptive.
