The instructive and educational aspects: close unity in "The Golden Age"

The present article is part of a document to support teaching, and it is aimed at helping teachers and students in the subject Reflexion and Debate. In the research we offer a general assessment of the content of ̈La Edad de Oro ̈, making emphasis mainly in its didactic and educative value and the peculiar pedagogic approach used by Marti in the writing and selection of the works presented in the book. We also argue about the sharpness of the language used, as well as the methods that the author uses to awaken in the readers the wish for useful knowledge which enrich their moral and spiritual world.
