Zusammenfassung: | The issue of this research is related to the ways on how to improve the effectiveness of the class management through the use of IT-based application in improving the students’ discipline. The objective of this research is to improve the students’ discipline especially in attending the courses in university through the use of an application in a portable and flexible finger print tool. This qualitative descriptive research is expected to be able to explain the phenomenon of the importance of students’ discipline in improving class management effectiveness. The data used are primary data, gathered by using questionnaires, observation, and CBIS. The analysis technique employs the application, the database, detector tool, and the setting of the application. The research result shows that there is an improvement on students’ discipline through the use of discipline application using finger print tool that is portable and flexible. The implementation of this research result is the improvement of the discipline using the application is necessary to be conducted for the effectiveness of class management. It is expected that from this research result, the dean of the faculty and the rector of the university can support the use of the discipline application using the portable finger print tool, so that it can improve students’ discipline and eventually can improve the quality of education and teaching process. |
