Zusammenfassung:The article addresses the concept of responsibility in relation to the possible existence of a good society and well-being. The framework for understanding the concept is built upon the heritage of Aristotle’s considerations of eudaimonía, while it draws also on MacIntyre’s ethics of virtue and his communitarian ideas. In the context of contemporary social transformations, responsibility is intertwined with the concept of reflexivity, which refers not only to individual’s inner dialogue, but also to relations between people. In that regard, the focus is, on the one hand, on individuals’ consciousness and self-awareness conditioning their understanding of social relations and structures, and, on the other hand, on their interactions as well as the role of intersubjectivity in attaching meaning to their actions. Interpretations, considerations, and discussion in the article ensue from the hermeneutic analysis of the narratives of youth in Slovenia, who are claiming to be the most responsible.
