Este artigoa borda a noção de estrutura em psicanálise, enfatizando sua presença e importância nas formulações freudianas e lacanianas. Aponta a utilização do termo estrutura em alguns textos freudianos, demonstrando que esta noção já estava presente emsua obra. O retorno a Freud efetuado por Lacan é revisto a partir da relação de Lacan com alguns estruturalistas. O texto aponta o esforçode Lacan para reconduzir a experiência psicanalítica à fala eà linguagem, a partir dos ensinamentos estruturalistas e da sua subversão. São apresentadas duas rupturas que marcam o afastamentode Lacan domovimentoestruturalista: o conceito de sujeito e o conceito de real. Evidencia-se que a noção de estrutura em Lacan é extraída do estruturalismo, mas ao mesmo tempo dele se dissocia porque a estrutura dos estruturalistas é coerente, completa, ao passo que a estrutura lacaniana é antinômica e descompletada, incluindo em seu campo uma impossibilidade: nem tudo será explicável. Marca-se uma distinção entre um estruturalismo baseado na completação e o ensino de Lacan que se assenta na incompletação. This article discusses the concept of structure in psychoanalysis, emphasizing its presence and importance in freudian and lacanian formulations. Points to the use of the term structure in some freudian texts, demonstrating that this notion was already present in his work. The return to Freud made by Lacan is revised from Lacan’s relationship with some structuralists. The text points to the Lacan efforts to bring the psychoanalytic experience to the speech and language, from the structuralist teachings and its subversion. The two breaks that mark the removal of Lacan ‘s structuralist movement are presented: the concept of the subject and the concept of real. It is evident that the notion of structure in Lacan is extracted from structuralism, but at the same time it dissociates because the structure of the structuralists is consistent, complete, whereas the Lacanian structure is antinomian and descompletada, including an impossibility in their field: not everything is explainable.
