Zusammenfassung:Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) of cerebellar hemisphere is a rare entity and constitutes less than 1% of all the GBMs. The rarity of occurrence leads to significant challenge in differentiating morphologically from other subtypes of glioma in the posterior fossa. Previous studies have suggested that cerebellar GBM occurs in the younger age group as compared with the supratentorial counterpart. Here, we report a case of cerebellar GBM in a young adult and discuss the pathogenesis including radiological and pathological aspects involved in the treatment of cerebellar GBM.
