Zusammenfassung:The feasibility of assessing the parameters of cerebral hemodynamics without skull trepanation using imaging photoplethysmography with illumination in the near-infrared spectrum range was demonstrated for the first time. The results were obtained when studying changes in blood flow in the rat brain in response to short-term respiratory failure (apnea test). Translation of the results into clinical practice will be useful for the development of a method for non-invasive assessment of cerebral blood flow in patients with cerebrovascular diseases.
