Zusammenfassung:Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is an immune-inflammatory disease and immunoglobulin G(IgG) N-glycosylation modifications are closely associated with DR. Among them, the modification of galactosylation, fucosylation, sialylation and bisecting N-acetylglucosamine of IgG changed has been proved to be predisposing factor to stimulate inflammation and related retinopathy.
