Zusammenfassung: | Improvement in the syllabus and system of Mad┐ ris in Pakistan, from various angles, is under continuous consideration, currently. For bringing reforms in teaching methodology in Mad┐ ris, it is pertinent to introduce deductive methodology as this method of teaching is considered to be more effective in transferring the knowledge. In connection with promoting the deductive method of teaching, the renowned scholar Muft┘ ‘In┐ yat A╒ mad (Died 1299 H), changed the traditional method of authoring through introducing the functional grammar concept for the very first time in India. Accordingly, he followed the combination of inductive and deductive method in the field of Arabic grammar. Therefore,Mad┐ ris belonging to different schools of thought, inclined to teach the book Ilm al-╗ ┘ ghah by the said scholar. In this paper, notable features of this book have been compared with other books of the same field in order to improve deductive methodology in Pakistani Mad┐ ris. |
