Zusammenfassung:We report a case of congenital thyroid teratoma that was diagnosed in fetal life and completely excised after birth. The histopathological diagnosis was immature teratoma. Recurrent nerve palsy was experienced after the complete excision, but hypothyroidism was not seen in this case. Thyroid teratoma at a neonatal age has a good prognosis when intensive respiratory care is properly administered after birth and complete excision is performed.
