Zusammenfassung:	This study reports the first record of Steinernema kraussei from Poland. The nematode was isolated from coniferous woodlands in 4 localities in central Poland. Preliminary identification of the species was done based on morphometric measurements. To confirm nematode species of the genus Steinernema the result was supported by the description of the ITS region.
