Zusammenfassung:Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection is known to be associated with the development of Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL). Exclusive extranodal bone marrow involvement is less common. Co-infection by other viruses, such as the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), increases the incidence of a frequent complication denominated by hemophagocytic lymphohistocytosis (HLH). We present the case of a 50-year-old patient with the above clinical spectrum who develops several serious complications during treatment.
