Zusammenfassung:History of Jahangasha is one of the most prominent works in the field of Persian prose and historiography that  the author of which, Attamalek Jovini, like his predecessor historians, used the verses of the Holy Quran and hadiths in his text. The basic question to which this writing was formed in response is, with what goals did Joveini use the verses of the Quran? The result of this research indicates that Joveini used Quranic verses in order to legitimize the Mongols, justify their attacks in the form of fatalism and calling the Mongols divine punishment. However, in some cases, he has also used the verses of the Quran to embellish his text and prose. This research was organized by statistical description of Quranic verses in Jahangashai Joveini's book and descriptive-analytical method and library and document methods have been used to collect information.
