Zusammenfassung:To identify the modal parameters of a vibrating system from output data only we use a state space model and usually two approaches are considered: the block Hankel matrix and its shifted version and the block observability matrix and its shifted version. It is shown in the communication that these two approaches give the same results even in the noisy data case. We present numerical and experimental results, who prove the effectiveness of the procedure.
