Zusammenfassung:This article presents a review of the literature regarding knowledge management, considering its importance in organizations, particularly in the hotel tourism sector, because of the complexity of the environments of this industry. For this purpose, a theoretical foundation was made, then the types of knowledge are referenced, later the presentation of the models and processes, and finally what is related to the hotel activity. In the same way, a series of conclusions are raised, tending the development of investigations, likewise, the use of temporal planes is required, to promote methodological rigor. The findings of this work indicate that knowledge management has great importance in the current context, as it contributes to the generation of a sustainable competitive advantage
