Zusammenfassung:The secondary phases occurring in a Cr-Ni-Co superalloy, modified by silicon additions, have been identified. The microstructures of the alloy in the as cast and heat treated conditions have been examined and the effect of the silicon content on the resulting microstructure studied. The influence of the microstructure on the hardness and wear resistance of the alloy has also been investigated.
