Zusammenfassung: | The highly reputed philosopher and scholar of Sindh Allama I.I.Kazi (1886-1968) does not require any formal introduction. He passed Sindhi Vernacular Final Examination in A.D. 1904 with flying colors. In A.D.1905, he passed matriculation examination from Bombay. He sought admission in Aligrh University in A.D. 1906, and studied Economics privately in London in 1907. In 1909, Allama I.I.Kazi got admission in London School of Economics, and was awarded the degree of barrister from Lincoln's Inn in 1911. In 1924, he was appointed as vice president of an organization " Poetry Society"; he held this office till 1943. He was awarded a lifetime membership of England Philosophical Society in 1929. During his stay in London School of Oriental Studies, he received an absolute learning of Arabic language from Sheikh Goma, a professor in AlAzhar University, and then from Dr. Teason. During his stay in London, besides Quranic Studies and Islamic Learning, he profoundly studied the wide and varied range of the worldly disciplines which include Philosophy, biology, botany, physics, chemistry, geology, astronomy, art, architecture, music, poetry and literature. In the same time, he tendered his sincere services for the Jamiat ul Muslimeen. |
