Zusammenfassung: | Nanotechnology in recent times has remarkably changed the narrative in nanomedical and drug conveying applications. Researches emanating from the stables of polymeric nanoarchitectural and bionanoarchitectural materials depict that relative to nanomedical applications, novel trends in nanotechnological applications of these nanomaterials (NM) have escalated for diagnosing, treatment and mitigation of diseases while attaining outstanding health integrity. Graphene (GN) has been utilized as a drug delivery system (DDS) attributable to their inherent remarkable behaviors and relatively reduced-toxicity in biological wellness. The uniform embedment of GN nanoparticulates within petroleum based polymeric matrices have resulted in the fabrication of multifunctional GN/polymeric nanoarchitectures depicted herein as GN@polymeric nanoarchitectures, whereas the embedment of GN within biopolymeric matrices have resulted in the fabrication of GN based polymeric bionanoarchitectures represented herein as GN@polymeric bionanoarchitectures. Hence, this paper presents recent advancements in bioactivity of GN@polymeric nanoarchitectures and GN@polymeric bionanoarchitectures for biomedical applications.
