Zusammenfassung: | Digital technologies are a reality across the world. Both migrants and non-migrants use and rely on technologies (smart phones, internet, digital networks) to organise their lives, contact family and friends, and develop their skills and work prospects. Through life stories with migrant women settled in Madrid, our study tries to understand their use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and the impact of the latter on their lives. Age, or generation, seems to be the most important factor in the differences observed between migrant women who are also digital immigrants. |
