Zusammenfassung:This article aims to introduce us to the aesthetic thought of the Latin American philosopher Rodolfo Kusch. To do this, it will be essential to understand the use and origin of categories of thought from Martin Heidegger's philosophy, such as truth understood as disclosure, and its manifestation in the work of art. Starting from this possible line of entry into Kuschean thought, we propose to delve into what Kusch is saying when he affirms that the truth of the American is confessed in art. In the second half of the article, we seek to display a generic characterization of Kuschean thought that makes its novelty visible beyond the Heideggerian influence; For this we will carry out a specific tour through the texts and sections of aesthetic reflection that appear in the work of the Argentine thinker.
