Zusammenfassung: | Kaposi Sarcoma (KS) is an intermediate neoplasm affecting the endothelial cells of mucous membranes and skin. It arises most commonly among HIV-infected individuals. Oral Kaposi's sarcoma of a HIV seronegative patient is extremely rare. We present an intra-oral KS in a 78-year-old Moroccan female patient, who is HIV-seronegative, non-immunosuppressed, and with no history of organ transplantation. The lesion was excised with a scalpel blade, and had no recurrence in the 3 months of follow-up. |
