Zusammenfassung: | There are specific health issues concerning the reproductive age of women, including inflammatory disease, fertility, and childbearing. [...]it is important to focus our attention on female health, as it is related to the impairment of reproductive functions in women. Besides female hormone-related skin disorders as shown above [1,2], leiomyoma of the uterus may be one of the most common benign disorders in women at reproductive age [4]. Hyperemesis gravidarum, characterized by persistent vomiting, weight loss of more than 5%, ketonuria, electrolyte abnormalities (hypokalemia), and dehydration (high urine specific gravity) is a severely uncomfortable disorder, resulting in the diminishment of the woman’s quality of life, a significant contribution to health care costs, and time lost from work, which can be associated with worse perinatal outcomes [18]. [...]it is important to recognize the risk factors associated with hyperemesis gravidarum, since this early intervention and treatment may avoid the subsequent bad outcomes as discussed above. [...]Vega et al. found that women with IgM antibodies against the phosphatidylserine-prothrombin complex (aPS/PT) titers having higher pulse wave velocity (PWV) levels [22]. |
