DOENÇA FALCIFORME NAS PESQUISAS EM ENFERMAGEM: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

An integrative review which aims to identify how nursing professionals have been addressing people with sickle cell disease. The search of references was developed in the database of the Virtual Health Library - VHL, with the following inclusion criteria: articles published in the last 4 years in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese and have nurses among authors. After analytical reading references, 17 articles were selected for analysis. The results showed that the nursing productions are still incipient in relation to the care of people with sickle cell disease, regarding the evaluation to alleviate pain and its occurrence, from the perspective of prevention and self-care involving the family and the nursing staff, especially in the hospital setting.
