Zusammenfassung: | Since the first report in Hubei, China, COVID-19 rapidly spread throughout the world and the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 as global Pandemic on March 11, 2020. The first confirmed case in Brazil was on February 26, 2020. These outbreaks pose a greater threat to patients with cancer in terms of morbidity and mortality as well as for the healthcare system professionals. The purpose of this editorial/letter is to provide specialist based recommendations for the treatment of hepatobiliary tumors during the pandemic period. |
