Zusammenfassung:Optical characteristics of nominally pure and Mg2+, Zn2+, Gd3+, B3+ cations doped LiNbO3 crystals were investigated. The radiation resistance of β- and γ- irradiated LiNbO3 : Zn crystals was studied. The features of the optical transmission of LiNbO3 : Zn crystals are determined in dependence on the type and dose of irradiation and the concentration of the doping additive.
