Laternamagica» by Inmar Bergman (essay-review of I. Bergman’s book «My Life»)

The article is an essay – review on the autobiography of I. Bergman, the largest figure of Swedish and World culture of the twentieth century. The autobiography, written very frankly is an interesting source for the study of I. Bergman’screativity and worldview. The analysis of his life and activity is given on a wide background of cultural and political reality of the second half of the XX century. I. Bergman’s attitude to the most important events of post war European history, political parties and currents of Sweden and other European countries, achievements of modern Western culture is investigated.
