Zusammenfassung: | This work proposes a study about important metallurgic parameters of Urucum manganese lump ore, which are: cold and hot particle disintegration mechanisms, heat decompositions and the pre-reduction behavior. A tone of the studied ore was received and representative samples were collected for characterization procedures. Aiming to study ore heat decompositions, it was proposed a quantitative index named Evolution of Heat Decomposition (EHD). Using this index, the chemical and mineralogical characterization data, it was possible to determine the main reactions of mineral decomposition. Two quantitative parameters were proposed to describe the ore solid state reduction; these indexes were named Pre-reduction Efficiency (PE) and Pre-reduction Instantaneous Rate (PIR). Applying these parameters it was possible to conclude that Urucum lump ore has a great pre-reduction behavior. The characterization of particle disintegration was performed using three new indexes for manganese ores, which were: ColdOriginal Abstract: Este trabalho estudou importantes parametros metalurgicos do Produto Granulado de Urucum, que sao: a degradacao granulometrica das particulas a frio e a quente, a decomposicao termica e a eficiencia de pre-reducao. Uma tonelada do material foi recebida e amostras representativas foram compostas para os procedimentos de caracterizacao. Para os estudos de decomposicao termica um indice foi proposto: Evolucao de Decomposicao Termica (EDT), por meio do qual mapeou-se as reacoes de decomposicao termica de seus minerais constituintes. Para estudar a reducao no estado solido foram propostos dois parametros quantitatives, que sao: Eficiencia de Pre-reducao (EP) e Velocidade Instantanea de Pre-reducao (VIP). Por meio deles, observou-se que o minerio tem boa redutibilidade no estado solido. Para a caracterizacao da degradacao granulometrica foram propostos tres parametros quantitativos: Indice de Desintegracao Granulometrica a Frio (DGF), Indice de Crepitacao (IC) e Indice de Desintegracao Granulometrica a Quente (DGQ). Por meio deles observou-se que este minerio nao apresenta significativa degradacao granulometrica a frio, entretanto ele e susceptivel a desintegracao a quente. |
