Zusammenfassung: | Myasthenia gravis (MG) is an autoimmune disease that causes localized and generalized muscle weakness caused by antibodies targeting various components of the postsynaptic membrane. Respiratory muscle involvement as a feared complication of this disease can be life-threatening and cause respiratory failure requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation. The relationship between MG and pulmonary hypertension (PH) has been rarely seen in the literature, and here we present a case who presented with respiratory failure and started treatment with the diagnosis of PH and was diagnosed with MG in the follow-up. |
