Zusammenfassung:Non-O1, non-O139 Vibrio cholerae (NOVC) is an emergent pathogen that mainly causes gastroenteritis. Also, it causes ear, wound infections, and bacteremia but the nervous system is rarely affected. We report on a case of NOVC meningoencephalitis in an infant that recovered after antimicrobial therapy but later presented neurologic sequelae.
