Zusammenfassung: | Wireless networks operate in a resource-constrained setting, of which spectrum is an important example. Here, we attack the scarcity problem by developing a market for virtual resources based on a common ownership self-assessed tax. We propose a utilization-based penalty mechanism to incentivize efficient use of resources and discourage hoarding. Our analysis and simulations show that the resulting market behaviour under various scenarios achieves this goal. |
