Zusammenfassung: | Understanding gender as a social construction and the child as an active subject, capable and endowed with potentials, this study aimed at understanding the representations of gender revealed by two boys in the context of early childhood education. This qualitative research strategies such as participant observation and a moment of intervention called playful time were adopted. Data were analyzed using content analysis. The survey revealed that the boys do not always do or play what adults expect or want them to actually do. The research allows us to see different ways of being a boy, expanding our knowledge of gender relations in childhood. |
