Zusammenfassung: | This article reviews the concept of flexibility management as a critical and necessary tool for the acceleration of the electrification process that will bring significant benefits in terms of decarbonization of the energy system. In addition to identifying the value created by flexibility and how it can be harnessed as a system operation tool, it reviews the current regulatory and technical barriers to the implementation of efficient flexibility management, taking into account that flexibility is concentrated in the low voltage distribution network and can interact with each and every one of the system’s agents. |
