Zusammenfassung:	The present paper aims to present a proposal to incorporate sustainability and social responsibility in an apparel production company. The article describes the importance of the topic, as well as literature reviews about sustainability and the fashion chain in Brazil, and proposes a cohesive and effective model for the reuse of fabric leftovers in a manufacturing industry by using Bomfim’s (1975) product design methodology.
