Zusammenfassung: | Equality policies have become prominent within the European legislative framework, at all institutional levels. In the university context too, guidelines on the new bachelor’s degrees encourage universities to include questions of gender and attention to diversity in the curriculum. The aim of this study is to ascertain, by analysing student guidebooks, to what extent the gender perspective is taken into account in the curriculums of Catalan universities that teach the degree in Sports Science and Physical Education. The study’s findings show that, despite the legislation to ensure that future professionals are provided with gender-related contents in the initial stages of their training, these are in fact given little or sometimes hardly any room. |
