This paper aims to elucidate the distinctive features and advantages of BIM technology through a comparative analysis of five key characteristics. Additionally, it delves into the practical applications of BIM in both architectural design and construction management. The foundational section of the paper illuminates the principles, concepts, and inherent characteristics of BIM technology. A comprehensive exploration of the technology's evolution in the construction industry is undertaken, highlighting its pivotal role. Subsequently, the paper offers an insightful overview of how BIM is applied in architectural design and construction management.
