Zusammenfassung:Invasive fungal infections (IFI) are a major cause of mortality and morbidity in patients with chronic granulomatous disease (CGD). We report and comment on a case of IFI caused by Rasamsonia argillacea in a 16-year-old female with CGD. Additionally, we briefly review and discuss the most challenging aspects of the identification and treatment of this species.
