Zusammenfassung:In the first part, the article presents a brief review of the steps that have marked the progressive rediscovery of the fascist concentration camps by Italian historiography. A path constantly influenced by politics of memory and public narratives that imposed a long silence lasted until the second half of the 80s, a phase from which appears many local and national research works that studied in deep the experience of the various camps located in Italy. In the second part the work proposes some public history projects related to the dissemination of local researches, developed thanks to European funding and proposed to public and schools in the memorial days established by law at the beginning of the 2000s.
