Zusammenfassung:This article presents a methodological model of sport bioethics committees, to address the dilemma arising from the concepts of athletic improvement, defined as the use of biotechnological attachments to produce bodily transformations to increase performance and exceed the results of conventional training. This alternative is due to the need for interdisciplinary evaluation of the potential effects of applied genetic engineering in sports, and is considered a self-regulatory mechanism of shared social control to make institutional decisions. The documentary research methodology is combined with the sampling technique of live temporary experience. The results of theoretical scrutiny; Hottois (IRBs), Beauchamp and Childress (Bioethics Principles), Fishkin (Deliberative Polling) and Unesco (Bioethics Committees) demonstrate its timely creation. In fieldwork, it investigated athletic improvement and doping. In conclusion, these committees are projected as neutral and pragmatic spaces situated between realistic and idealistic sectors of the governing bodies of sport, as a democratic option for the sports community. Its potential has already been tested in politics and sport, with similar purposes, namely: informed citizen deliberation
