Zusammenfassung:Estrogen has a significant effect on the development of breast cancer. Its activities in the human body are mainly performed by binding to cellular estrogen receptor (ER). Breast cancer in relate to the presence of ER can be divided into ER-positive and ER-negative breast cancer. The role of estrogen and its receptors in the development of breast cancer will be discussed in this review.
