Zusammenfassung:Introduction: The reduction of quality indicators in the entry points of cities as one of the urban public spaces is one of the problems that cities are facing. Nowadays, entrances of cities are some inefficient and useless spaces, where have inconsistent functions and are unsightly, with no hierarchy between the outside and inside of urban environments. The purpose of the current research is to identify the factors affecting the quality of the entrance space of cities in the first step and to prioritize and evaluate these factors in the case study in the next stepData and Method: This research is a survey type with a descriptive-analytical approach using a researcher-made questionnaire. The statistical population in this research was 65 experts in architecture and urban design who were familiar with the case of study. Further, in the form of an interview, they were asked to express the effect of the variable raised in each question on the northwest entrance of Zirab in percentage by showing them the pictures of the study area. Friedman test, factor analysis and T test were used for analysis. Results: It shows that the average of all quality entrance indicators from the point of view of experts is in an unfavorable situation with a value of 51 out of 100. At the same time, the findings have shown that "lighting at night" and "preserving the natural form and shape of the land" have the highest effect in maintaining the quality of the entrance to the city. Conclusion: : It seems that the importance of night life and the beauty of the city, creating a sense of safety at night and also paying attention to the background and natural beauty of the regions should be considered in urban planning and designs.
