Zusammenfassung:Selective transfer can be achieved sure in a friction pair if, there are copper-based alloy, favourable energy, relative movement, and lubricant adequately. This is also possible in the friction pairs of the mechanical installations working in aqueous environments (water acts as a lubricant), without using other lubricating materials. Experimental research has shown as these friction pairs, in the working process form a thin film of copper on friction surfaces, which is self-generate and behaves tribologically quite well. The processes that take place in the contact areas of these friction pairs are very complex. Thus, the aim of this paper is to modelling of contact processes of a friction pair that works with selective-transfer in aqueous environments; by establishing parameters from the contact areas, the recognition sizes, the couple of suitable materials and the optimal operating conditions.
